About DBG Technologies Web DesignAbout Us

DBG Technologies Websites. Done Right. Established in 2001 by university students Daniel Wilson and Luke Jamieson, the business initially operated as an experience tool used to acquire knowledge in the field of IT to show potential employers.

It was during these initial stages that lots of Daniel and Luke’s friends and family members enjoyed the benefits of having their websites built on the cheap!  However it’s didn’t take long for word of mouth to spread the great reviews that their work was receiving.

Throughout the next 3 years the DBG client-base steadily increased, and in March of 2004 a .Net Programmer was engaged to assist with growing business demands.  This also meant that DBG needed a central place to call home, and so it was around this time that they moved into a one-room office (with no windows!) upstairs at Leader Computers on Franklin Street.

Over the next few years, business demands grew and more staff members were hired to assist with the designing and programming of websites to free up Daniel and Luke to liaise with clients and bring in new business.

By 2008, the business had taken on more staff and became the incorporated company DBG Technologies Pty Ltd.  Around this time, the DBG team felt they had outgrown their one-room office at Leader Computers, so it was decided that it was time to move to a bigger, better office (with windows!).  In August of 2008 DBG moved into a larger office at 241 Pirie Street, Adelaide.

From here, the business expanded at a rapid rate – going from 4 staff to 15 in the space of 2 years!   Now operating with 2 Directors, a Business Development Manager, a qualified team of Programmers, a diversely creative team of Designers and an Accounts Manager – DBG is going better than ever.  And thanks to the ongoing support of their wonderful clients, the business has been able to relocate to bigger, better premises at Level 1, 38 Payneham Road in Stepney.  This 275m² space will allow the team to work more efficiently while the business continues to expand to deliver better services to both new and existing clients.

Drop by for a coffee sometime – we’d love to show you our new office!
