As a global leader in optical and optoelectronic technology, Zeiss required a robust and scalable solution to manage complex product ranges, distributor networks, and customer-specific requirements. Utilising our LiveCube platform, we developed a tailored eCommerce solution that integrates directly with their ERP and supply chain systems, automating order management and enhancing data accuracy across multiple channels. This integration streamlines workflows and supports Zeiss’s commitment to innovation, precision, and exceptional service. The Strategy
The custom-built ZEISS Partner Portal has significantly expanded the company’s partnership capabilities and now serves as a powerful business tool to streamline operations, automate reporting, and simplify complex ordering and fulfilment processes. By integrating reward points, multi-currency pricing, and account-based purchasing, the portal has enhanced partner engagement and internal efficiency.
To meet the needs of ZEISS’s international partners, the project began with a comprehensive scoping phase to define the unique requirements for a custom partner portal. Core functionality included monthly updates of partner reward balances, the ability to purchase using rewards points, credit card, or both, and dynamic pricing and currencies based on login credentials.

The Technology
The solution was developed on LiveCube by dbg—a powerful, scalable eCommerce platform built on the latest Microsoft technologies. Known for its seamless integration with ERP, POS, accounting, and warehouse systems, LiveCube enabled ZEISS to centralise and streamline sales, operations, and fulfilment. The portal was also integrated with ZEISS’s internal LabPro software to ensure accurate synchronisation of partner reward data and order tracking.
