Cycle2max was an idea that was initially derived from the passion and devotion of Olympic Gold Medallist, Brett Aitken. The concept was to create a specialty cycling website that was designed to gauge, enhance and challenge individual cyclists and enable them to set goals and monitor their own progress.
Design a website that would appeal to cycling enthusiasts, providing a lot of interactive features.
Set-up the ability for people to sign up as Members and create their own profiles.
Unique Bike Hill Climb Time Trials and Bike Circuit Time Trials areas where members can enter their attempts at pre-entered rides, or add new courses.
Provide a Marketplace for members to advertise bikes and associated parts to other members, but also for members to list things that they are looking to buy.
Create a Forum that allows for members to start threads and comment on existing threads.
A News thread to allow the website administrator to post any cycling-related news.
An Articles area to allow for the website administrator to add Training, Nutrition & Cycling related articles.
Space within the website design to allow for cycling-related advertisements.
The Cycle2max website provides cycling resources, articles, and a place for members of the cycling community to go to discuss questions, problems, training and read other tip on improving their cycling performance. The website also now acts as the official cycling talent identification hill-climbing website of the Australian Sports Commission’s National Talent Identification and Development program.
