Strategic Plan: The website needed to focus on tracking sales conversions, providing a fantastic end-user experience, and ultimately resulting in online sales. The website needed to make automating electric gates easy for users with up to date information, friendly service and great advice.

Design & Development: The design for the Automatic Gates Direct website was focussed on being easy to navigate. It needed to use the company logo and colour scheme, with importance placed on keeping the design clean and professional. Product information needed to be readily available, along with technical information and help for users.

CMS: The Content Management System was set up to allow not only for the management of Products and Categories, but also for the unique management of Accessories. Accessories are set up as a group and attached to relevant Products. It is nice and simple for the website administrator to add and remove new Accessories to a Group.

Automatic Gates Direct received their first online order within only a few days of launching the site, and traffic to the website is steadily increasing. Ongoing user testing was carried out to ensure the best possible online shopping experience.
